The Time Is Now!

Section 6, Chapter 8

The Fields Are White For Harvest

By Dale P. Kruse

Back to Chapter 7, Chapter 9

Welcome to the family of God Denise and Jill, two Ethiopian teenagers. After sharing the WEL with Denise she prayed and received Jesus into her heart as Lord and Savior. Her friend Jill was standing listening to us share the Gospel with Denise. After we prayed with Denise, Jill said, "I want to receive Jesus also." We prayed with her and she too received Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

Welcome to the family of God Kevin and Billy. Two people in Tulsa, OK I shared What Is Eternal Life? with and who received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord as a result.

Welcome to the family of God Jack. One day while sharing at Fresno City College I shared with a man by the name of Jack from my tract What Is Eternal Life?. I developed this tract, not with the purpose of replacing the 4SLís, but because of a need I saw for this tract as a result of the information gained through two years of door to door and on the campus surveying. In this section, listen to the answers given by people to the field survey. Next, read the tract What Is Eternal Life? and then read Chapter 7 in this section titled, Converted Ex-Con, to see how it addresses comments made by people through the survey. When I went over the second meaning of receiving Jesus as Lord which is, Receiving Jesus As Lord Means To Repent Of Your Sins, I read 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 to Him in which the Apostle Paul gives us an example of what the New Testament means by sin,

"Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

When I hit homosexuals he said, "The Bible condemns homosexuality?" The word here in the Greek for homosexuality is ajrsenokoivth". It is a compound word broken down to a[rshn meaning male and koivth meaning sexual intercourse. The two words combined means a male having sexual intercourse with another male. I explained to him that homosexuality was God's judgment on man, the result of rebellion against God. I read to him Romans 1:18-27. I explained to him that God created sex, that sex in itself is not wrong when

practiced within marriage. But I further explained to him that when men refuse to acknowledge God in their lives that He gives them over to a depraved mind to do those things which are not proper or sanctioned by God such as men committing indecent acts with men and woman with woman. Homosexuality is the result of rebellion against God, not sanctioned by God.

This generation has no concept of what the Bible teaches about morality. Not only that, but this generation has no knowledge of the Bible at all. Once a fellow, American born, employee asked me who Adam and Eve was? These kind of questions and comments not only led me to develop What Is Eternal Life? but also to write a book titled What The Bible Teaches About God, the Universe & Man. This book talks about the creation of the universe and man, the fall of man, God's redemption for fallen man and how we know that what the Bible teaches is absolutely true over all other religious claims. Every Book mentioned in the catalog was written as a result of needs recognized through forty-three years of on the field one-on-one Evangelism.

When I asked Jack if he would like to receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord he said yes. We prayed together and Jack prayed and received Jesus into his heart.

A few weeks ago I shared the Gospel with a man by the name of Carlos at an indoor mall. Carlos shared with me that he had attended a Baptist Church for three years and knew about Jesus' salvation for him but had never receive Him. We prayed together and Carlos received Jesus as his Savior and Lord.

A week ago I shared the Gospel with a teenager at a outdoor park by the name of Wesley. Wesley asked me, "If I donít receive Jesus, can I go to heaven?" I explained to Wesley, "No! There is no way to get to Heaven except through Jesus. Jesus is the only way and ticket to Heaven. You must receive Him in order to have eternal life and go to heaven." With that Wesley prayed with me and received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

After sharing the Gospel for one semester at Fresno State University, the Lord told me it was time for a harvest. The following week I led six people to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. In two of these cases the person was wavering so I re-emphasized the significance of Jesusí Physical Resurrection. As a result they decided to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord. Galatians 6:9 "Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary."

Welcome Denise, Jill, Jack, Kevin. Billy, Carlos and Wesley to the family of God. Please pray for these children of God.
