Dear John:

It was so encouraging to talk with you last (day) and to see how Jesus is already working in your life (review if necessary).

I’m glad that you’re experiencing for yourself that Christianity really is an intimate personal relationship with Jesus. He really does care about every detail of your life. It was a blessing to me to hear you share how Jesus gave you a specific time and place daily He wants you to feed on Him and His Word. Let me encourage you to obey Jesus in this and do what He tells you to do in spending daily time with Him. You see, Jesus has a plan for your life. His specific instructions to you about how to approach your daily feeding on Him is the beginning of His manifesting and working out that plan and purpose for your life, so it is very important that you approach Him the way He instructs you to.

Please continue to keep a Spiritual Diary during your daily feeding on Jesus so you can share with me each week what He is teaching you. This is important because as you share with me what Jesus is teaching you in your time of feeding on Him, you are telling me who you are and what Jesus’ personal will and plans are for your life. The importance of this is it tells me how I can pray more intelligently for you, how I can truly be a help to you in seeing Jesus’ will in your life realized.

As a result of this week’s lesson you are beginning to see that reading the Bible and going to Church is not just a religious activity, but first of all, our way of letting Jesus know we want to have relationship with Him and know His personal intimate plan and purpose for our lives; second, it is the two main ways that Jesus provides for us to know for certain what is truly His voice: through the Word, because Jesus never speaks to us contrary to His Word, and through Church fellowship, because of the maturity of older Christians and their insights and through the exercise of spiritual gifts. If you focus on being faithful in these two activities (feeding on Jesus through daily reading of the Bible and through weekly fellowship in a Church with other believers), no matter what your problems are they will find a solution. This is because Jesus promises us in John 14:21 that if we obey Him by daily reading the Word and by weekly pursuing Church fellowship that He will manifest Himself to us and His answers to our needs. Obedience to Jesus’ dictates to our lives is the key to receiving revelation from Him about our lives and needs (John 14:21, Rev 3:2-3).

You are going to enjoy this weeks lesson reading Understanding Your Salvation in Jesus because it discusses what your salvation in Jesus is all about and about who Jesus is.

Again, please feel free to call if you have any questions or prayer needs.

Sincerely yours, in Jesus,

Dale P. Kruse
